Abstract Uttarakhand Government had tried to crush the struggle of the electricity employees by declaring NSA, ESMA, using temporary employees and engineers from neighbouring states, etc. But the electricity employees struggled unitedly and undauntedly. They were supported by power sector workers from all over India. Hence Uttarakhand Government was forced to concede to the just demands of the electricity employees and the CM has categorically assured the workers in respect of promotions, time bound pay scales and other demands.
उत्तराखंड सरकार ने पड़ोसी राज्यों के अस्थाई कर्मचारियों और इंजीनियरों आदि का उपयोग कर एनएसए, एस्मा घोषित करके बिजली कर्मचारियों के संघर्ष को कुचलने की कोशिश की थी, लेकिन बिजली कर्मचारियों ने एकजुट और निडर होकर संघर्ष किया। उन्हें पूरे भारत के बिजली क्षेत्र के श्रमिकों द्वारा समर्थित किया गया था। इसलिए उत्तराखंड सरकार को बिजली कर्मचारियों की जायज मांगों को मानने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ा और सीएम ने कर्मचारियों को पदोन्नति, समयबद्ध वेतनमान और अन्य मांगों के संबंध में स्पष्ट रूप से आश्वासन दिया है।
The unity of electricity employees and engineers of Uttarakhand along with those from all over India has forced the Uttarakhand Government to concede to the just demands of the electricity employees.
After detailed talks with Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Energy Minister Dr Harak Singh Rawat & Chief Secretary, the Strike Notice of Uttarakhand Power Employees & Engineers Sangharsh Morcha is withdrawn. The CM has categorically assured to issue orders of Time bound Pay Scales/ACP as were applicable before 2017, i.e., three promotion scales after 09, 14 &19 years. Orders for revision of several allowances issued after talks.
The authorities tried to crush the struggle of the electricity employees by declaring National Security Act (NSA) and Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA), by trying to recruit temporary electricity employees and engineers from neighbouring states, etc. But all their attempts failed in the face of the united struggle of the electricity employees and engineers under the banner of NCCOEEE (National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees and Engineers).
