T N Ramakrishna, president and convener of Rashtra Gaurava Samrakshana Parishath together with the school management, organized a program at Sharada Vidya Niketan School in Bangarpet, Karnatata on 1st of Oct, 2013 to commemorate centenary of Hindustani Ghadar Party. Program was attended by over hundred school students. Besides Mr. TN.Ramakrishna, Mr.Baskar of Lokraj Sangathan, Mr. Narayana Swamy – ex MLA of this region and by Mr.Shankar Narayana Reddy – National convenor of Kisan Morcha also addressed the young students. Speakers recounted the glorious ideals and the heroic deeds and valour of Ghadar party fighters for liberating India.
They mentioned of the foresightedness of the Ghadar party members in demanding not only full liberation for the Indian people from British colonialism, but also complete elimination of oppression, exploitation and injustice on the people of India. Today’s India is nowhere close to what our heroic martyrs have fought and sacrificed their life for. How can we accept the stark poverty and conditions where education, healthcare and assured future remains elusive even today? Everyone one of you – young and energetic students must take up the tasks which still remain unfulfilled. Let us all unite and work to build a new India free from poverty, exploitation and oppression, they said.
There was a colourful dance program by the students. On the occasion of Centenary of the Ghadar movement, TN Ramakrishna also distributed school bags and study materials to the economically weaker students of the school. He has been conducting similar programs on centenary of Ghadar movement in many schools of Karnataka educating the younger generation of its glorious objectives and sacrifices they have made for the Indian people.
Program at Bangarpet ended in an optimistic mood with smiles in their faces and fire in their heart to work for a New India.
