img-20121102-00186.jpgOn November 2nd 2012, from 6.15 pm to 7.30 pm activists of Lok Raj Sangathan, Kamgar Ekta Chalwal, Voltas Employees Federation , Western Railway Motormens Association and Purogami Mahila Sangathan, jointly distributed thousands of leaflets demanding punishment to the perpetrators of the 1984 riots, during the peak evening rush hour at Churchgate Station, the main hub of the Western Railway Network in Mumbai.

A candle light vigil was also observed in memory of the thousands of Sikhs who were butchered 28 years ago this day in New Delhi and other parts of North India. The activists shouted militant slogans throughout the demonstration, calling for punishment to the criminal parties and their leaders involved in this massacre as well as the massacres that took place in 1992 after demolition of Babri Masjid and in 2002 Gujarat riots.

The people going home took the leaflets and supported the demand to punish the guilty.
