The majority of Indian people have neither secure livelihood nor the power to do anything about their miserable conditions of life. They are not treated as human beings. They are humiliated and oppressed on the basis of caste, gender, class, race, religion and nationality.

Fifth Convention of Lok Raj Sangathan – An important milestone in building the institutions of people’s power!
The Fifth Convention of Lok Raj Sangathan took place in New Delhi on November 7-8, 2009. Hundreds of delegates from several states of India and from abroad attended the Convention. Excellent presentations and discussions characterized the Convention.

Wherever one looked, one could see bright faces, greeting their friends and comrades, fellow fighters in the cause of Lok Raj. Warm hugs, firm handshakes; broad smiles at seeing one another after so many days; delight at seeing so many more people who have joined the caravan, so many youth, so many women.
