Thousands participate in march and rally to demand justice for Babri Masjid demolition

ThumbnailThousands of people belonging to different political, social, rights and religious organisations vigorously took part in a march from Mandi House circle to Parliament street in New Delhi on 6th December 2017 to mark the 25th anniversary of demolition of Babri Masjid. The slogans and colourful banners demanded that those responsible for demolition of Babri Masjid be punished. Other slogans included. "Unite against state organised communal violence", "State terrorism – Down, Down!", "An attack on one is an attack on all!", "Unite against state organised communal violence and state terrorism!", "Down with attack on the right to conscience", etc.

25th anniversary of the demolition of Babri Masjid: Unite to demand justice! Only the empowerment of people can put an end to communal violence!

On the 6th of December, which marks the 25th anniversary of the demolition of Babri Masjid, people will be pouring out in large numbers in several cities to demand that the guilty should be punished and justice delivered.

बाबरी मस्जिद के विध्वंस की 25वीं बरसी : न्याय की मांग के लिये एकजुट हो! लोगों को सत्ता में लाने से ही साम्प्रदायिक हिंसा को खत्म किया जा सकता है!

बाबरी मस्जिद का विध्वंस यह एक गुस्साई भीड़ का काम नहीं था जैसा कि सत्ताधारी बताते हैं। यह एक पहले से नियोजित काम था जिसके लिये उत्तर प्रदेश में भाजपा नीत सरकार और केन्द्र में कांग्रेस पार्टी नीत सरकार, दोनों, मिलकर जिम्मेदार थीं। बाबरी मस्जिद के विध्वंस के तुरंत बाद मुंबई, सूरत व अन्य स्थानों में बड़े पैमाने पर साम्प्रदायिक हिंसा की गयी। इसमें हजारों निर्दोष लोग मारे गये।

The demonstration began at Ram Lila Maidan, marched through the crowded streets of the old city and finally culminated in a public rally at Jantar Mantar, in the vicinity of Parliament.
